Travel Program

1st day ( Distance 487 )

From Bayannuur to Dalanzadgad

From Bayannuur aimag, we take a bus for 10 hours and arrive at the border with Russia. Passports and visas are checked. We enter the border checkpoint and start our trip with a tour bus, accompanied by a guide. We arrive in Khanbogd sum and have lunch. We exchange money. We visit the temple. We visit the Clean Energy Center and the temple. We continue to Dalanzadgad.

2nd day ( Distance 80 )

Dalanzadgad - Mukhar shivert - Yolyn am

Have morning tea at the camp. From Dalanzadgad, at 9 o'clock in the morning, head to the beautiful place of Mukhar, which is the gateway to the Gobi, and explore on camelback.

Food :

On the Christmas tree's branches, a squirrel is eating food.

Camp :

The driver of the New Year tree forest is found in the market.

Day three ( Distance 240 )

The forest of Am-Hongorils

From the pine forest, the tea of the morning is brewed for 8 hours. Lunch is served in the silver fir forest. Activities such as playing, fishing, and taking pictures continue on the silver fir forest.

Food :

Have lunch at the cafeteria.

Camp :

The Hongor sand dune extends into the steppe.

4th day ( Distance 250 )

Gobi Desert - Bayanzag

Feed the camels in the morning and drive for 9 hours. Take a picture on the Bayanzag cliff. Arrive at the Gobi sand dunes from Bayanzag.

Food :

Have lunch at the cafeteria.

Camp :

Opening the door to the Christmas spirit, the days are getting longer.

5th day ( Distance 270 )

Yolyan am-Malchin ayl

In the morning, we drank tea at the market and left at 09 o'clock. A shepherd in the steppe greeted us and introduced us to a nomad. We visited the museum of the province. From now on, we will travel on foot with the nomad.

Food :

The shepherd eats breakfast in the morning. He eats lunch in the basecamp.

Day 6 ( Distance 0 )

I am traveling to Tsagaan Suvarga.

In the white tent, have some morning tea. With a cultural tour. Enjoy the festival.

Food :

Have breakfast in the cafeteria. Have lunch in the canteen.

Camp :

The white film base is aging.

7th day ( Distance quinientos cincuenta - five hundred and fifty )

Bayanuur is from Tsagaan Suvarga.

Tea is served at the market in the morning from 6 am. At 15.30, we will leave by Mongolian van to Bayannuur.

Food :

Today's lunch will be served at the White House restaurant.

Tax

1. VAT (Value Added Tax) and refund policy

  1. In Mongolia, VAT (10%) is charged on all purchases.
  2. When making a purchase from a registered store on the "eBarimt" system, you can receive a tax invoice (with a QR code).
  3. Be aware that foreign visitors are not eligible for VAT refunds, so it is not possible to claim back the tax invoice.

2. Customs duty and tax

📌 Items that can be imported duty-free:

  1. Personal use items (such as mobile phones, cameras, clothes, personal hygiene products, etc.).
  2. Up to 10,000 yuan (≈ 1.5 thousand MNT) in cash (larger amounts must be declared to Mongolian banks).
  3. Up to 1 liter of alcohol, 200 cigarettes (exceeding this will require payment of duty).

  1. Large quantities of goods (for commercial purposes) - Requires notification to Mongolian customs.
  2. Luxury goods, cosmetics - Likely to incur tax based on the original value.

3. Customs duty (Declare the items purchased in Mongolia upon arrival)

  1. When returning to China, if you are carrying large amounts of taxable items (jewelry, cosmetics, luxury goods), be sure to check customs regulations.
  2. Products like meat, alcohol, cigarettes weighing over 5 kg fall under Chinese customs restrictions.

👕 Recommendations:

Outerwear: Winter jacket, clothing with wind protection, warm gloves, hat, scarf

Insulated footwear: Boots with insulation from the cold
