In the territory of Aldarkhaan Soum, Zavkhan aimag, 78 km west of Uliastai Soum, 20 km from Otgongenger Mountain, a high mountain with forests and lakes is located. From the 1st of the fourth month to the 1st of the seventh month, there is a seasonal work opportunity with the possibility of hosting 150-210 people in one shift. From 1930 to 1950 and from 1970 to 1982, researchers from ZHU and BNMAU conducted comprehensive research on the medical use of the snow leopard. The construction of the snow leopard fence started in 1954 and continued until 50 corrals were established to prevent snow leopard attacks. The snow leopard area is operational from the 1st of the 6th month to the 1st of the 9th month, with the capacity to host 150-210 people in one shift. Medical services provided include snow leopard treatment, snow leopard containment, dressing changes, wound care, plastering, fracture setting, physical, and mental health services, medical gymnastics. The medical staff is skilled in providing medical care in remote areas with harsh environmental conditions, including high altitude, severe cold, and lack of facilities, ensuring the safety of the patients during the treatment process.
